Our lives have consisted of lotttts of walking lately! I know.. same story as the past few months. But don't worry- it will all be over soon and I will stop talking about it. Our big walk is tomorrow and I am excited to get this thing over with! The good thing about all the walks we've been doing is all of the beautiful parts of Sydney we have seen... in the light and in the dark! Let me just say that seeing a kangaroo in the dark in the bush is SCARY. John and I were finishing up a long walk a couple of weeks ago and we had stopped talking toward the end You know.. what else is there to say after 7 hours? It was dark and all of a sudden a gigantic kangaroo jumped across the path in front of us. I screamed. We decided we needed to start making some noise to scare those suckers off so we clapped/sang/yelled for the remainder of the walk. I ain't trying to fight no kangaroo.
When we weren't walking, I was catching up with a Brentwood friend in Melbourne-
Wining and dining at a wine & cheese event-
Saying YES to standing beside a bestie on her big day-
John had a work conference in the Hunter Valley-
and caught an AFL game-
We saw Ira Glass at the Opera House-
Celebrated a birthday-
Drank some coffee-
Ate some ramen-
Checked out the new country bar in our neighborhood (Dierks & Kenny on repeat.. yes plz)-
Ate some more ramen-
And joined Rudy at his favorite local spots-
How cute is our dog!!!
