Whew! We have been busy busy since we returned from Fiji. All fun things of course, but I am looking forward to a little break in travel!
For New Year's, we headed up to the Central Coast for a few days of camping. I had been to this campsite once before but during the winter.. so this was a whole new experience!
(things got a little blurry)
We got up close and personal with some wild stingrays!
Side note: Poor Rudy was bitten by a paralysis tick the week before our trip! His back legs started giving out and he threw up... so I knew something was off. A paralysis tick is only found in Eastern Australia and can be deadly :( Luckily, he was all good to go after two nights in the pet hospital.
He had to take it easy on our trip... but that's ok. More puppy snuggles, please!! Can we go a month with no Wells family members being hospitalized, please?
John's birthday is coming up but since we will be out of town, we celebrated a few days early! An afternoon of food & drinks at The Oaks ( a lovely pub in our neighborhood). John's work friends gave him a very thoughtful gift--- an edible g-string!
Can't believe my husband is 30. 30!
We checked an item off our bucket list-- seeing a show at the Opera House. John even saw two!
Gary Clark Jr. with his work dudes-
And David Sedaris-
John's New Year's Resolution is to go on 52 bush walks in 2016. We did numero uno last weekend- Bantry Bay trail- and it was great!
